During Ramadan, Modern Bus Company (MBC) kept Makkah City moving with the Kingdom’s first integrated public bus network operator.  This month, MBC provides the Insider with some stats on their state-of-the-art public transport system. During Ramadan, in one of the world’s most visited destinations, Modern Bus facilitated over 7.5 million passenger journeys on its 400 buses across 12 routes and 450 bus stops throughout Makkah. The company employs over 700 drivers and 200+ support personnel to keep its 24/7 operations running smoothly. The unique and sustainable buses are currently free of charge.
